Homemade Fettuccine w/ Sausage & Grilled Veggies

What a beautiful meal!
Making some tomato sauce. Ever since I started making my own, I can't bring myself to buy it from the store. I use a simple recipe, and it doesn't take long. I also had some fresh basil leftover from making pizza, and that made it even better.
Preparing to make some noodles. Pasta dough is simple, and whole wheat flour is actually available here!
Dough made into a ball, and ready to hurry up and wait.
Rolled out; looks good; let's make this happen!

Noodlized!
Some nice fresh veggies for roasting - I love the combination of colors, and look forward to the combination of flavors (don't forget to sprinkle some salt on your zucchinis well before grilling to draw out the extra moisture).
Grillin' up a storm!
Noodles are cooked and ready to go...
Veggies and sausages are all grilled up...
A lovely dinner for two.

Jalapeño bagels

A few beautiful bagels, care of my trusty toaster oven :)

A beautiful risen dough - good sign of things to come.

To make the dough, I used the same recipe as my first time making bagels.
Simple ingredients make the best food - flour, water, sugar, yeast, and chopped jalapeño peppers.

Rolling the peppers into the dough.
Once the peppers are incorporated into the dough, it's just a matter of cutting it into pieces, each with the right amount of dough to make one bagel
The bagels after being proofed and boiled, ready to go in the oven. Just before baking, I drizzled a little olive oil on top and sprinkled some kosher salt on them to bring out the flavor of the peppers.
The finished product - nice and shiny, and cooked to perfection!

Stuffed Peppers

Beautiful food - as good as it looks.

A solid start - some bread crumbs from Elephant Mart, my local (and very helpful) Korean supermarket.
Garlic and onions - in very generous portions, as usual!
All mixed up - a pile of ground pork with onions. Later, I added mushrooms, zucchini, and a bunch of salt, pepper, and basil.
My little buddies - stuffed and ready to go in the oven. Those are my homemade bagels in the background.

When it was time for cooking, I roasted the peppers in the toaster oven in a bath of pasta sauce with a topping of fresh mozzarella cheese.

Served up with a pan-seared chicken breast topped with fried garlic. Mmmmmm.......
I wish I hadn't eaten it all - oh, the memories!
